Finally I managed to get the tree up! Not only are we almost half way through the month with no tree but even better I just removed the pumpkins...Yikes!!! My only saving grace, at least they weren't carved!

Beautiful tree! Even with our tree standing about 2 feet in front of my face...it still doesn't feel like Christmas to me either. Christmas was more exciting as a child and I didn't have to spend money but just sit back and enjoy the excitment in the air! I'm glad we have little ones in the house the keep the spirit alive though.
That's a beautiful tree. If your children are anything like mine, especially Baylee, the ornaments are falling apart almost daily. I think it may be a good excuse to get new decorations following the holiday.
